The Antarctic Climate and Ecosystems CRC is Australia's primary vehicle for understanding the role of the Antarctic region in the global climate system, and the implications for marine ecosystems. Our purpose is to provide governments and industry with accurate, timely and actionable information on climate change and its likely impacts.
To produce high quality science requires high levels of co-operation. The Antarctic is an extreme environment, and the climate processes and ecosystems we study there are indifferent to national and institutional boundaries. ACE is built on a strong, long-standing and productive collaboration between seven core partners and thirteen supporting partners. Our research program is wide-ranging and multi-disciplinary, and our strong record of scientific achievement is the result of our ability to draw expertise and support from across our partners.
The ACE CRC is established and supported under the Australian Government’s Cooperative Research Centres programme.
