Oceans have warmed in the past 50 years, but not by natural events alone. This is the finding of research published by an international team of scientists including ACE CRC/CSIRO oceanographer Catia Domingues and ACE CRC Honorary Research Fellow John Church. Dr Domingues and Dr Church were part of an international team of authorsled by Peter  Gleckler from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the US. The paper has been published in Nature Climate Change. Dr Church is a CSIRO Fellow with the Centre for Australian Weather and Climate Research. Read the media release here.
